This kit is designed to be used with the NEWER POD-ADAPTABLE models of the Rancilio Line. Some previous models (pre-2007) did not have removable shower screen plates. Rancilio states that the pod specific portafilter (part #V_2172 or 10071001) is also required. This kit may also to be used in combination with standard single-dose coffee pods regularly available on the market; only the "double" pod basket is included. The pod used may not exceed 48 mm (approx. 1 7/8" in.) outside diameter.
