60 mm press fit, non welded HQ E61 Group Head Screen. The finely polished stainless steel walls allows the water to flow at a steadier rate. These aren't your run-of-the-mill espresso machine parts. Our HQ Parts are all economical high-end after-market espresso machine components designed with precision and performance in mind. Held in place with your gasket. Not only are these screen types used across all models that use an E61 style group, but are now used in some piston lever group models as well.

Even with diligent and thorough cleaning, coffee oils and grounds get stuck, unseen, between the solid back-plate and the mesh on top, eventually turning rancid. The mesh eventually wears out as well, expanding in different portions which can lead to uneven water dispersion
Don't wait until you "need" to! Depending on use and other factors, these should be replaced every 4-6 months, as a regular preventive mantainance
